It was my 18th birthday and I didn't have anything to do. All my friends
were gone on spring break to Daytona and mom wouldn't let me go! She said
she knows how it gets because she had been several times! Several I
thought! I wish she would get off of this comfort zone bull! It's not like
I haven't been with guys or haven't had sex before, let alone a secret
abortion she would never find out about! Well I wasn't just gonna sit in
this boring city for my birthday and spring break!! I lived in a little
city in southernmost Illinois nothing ever happened there. I wanted a
little excitement. I knew I could get my way with my mom, so I thought. I
asked her if I could take a later flight to Daytona and pleaded that they
had an extra bed just for me. The answer, you guessed it, NO!!! "I have an
idea Chrissy, " mom said as she looked me in my eyes. "How bout you go up
and visit Grandma Elsa, she would love to see you!" Before I said no, I
thought about it. Grandma lived in a little town in Northern IL about 30
minutes outside Chicago. I knew there would be plenty to do! Grandma is a
real cool too, even cooler than my mom who is only 35. My Grandma is only
50! Jeees women in those days had em young! Well women these days are
having them young! My dad passed seven years ago in a fatal accident, so it
's just been me and mom! I believe she puts a bubble around me because of
what happened to dad. My Grandfather passed when I was about 4 or 5.
Enough about my so-called genealogy. I called grandma later on that day and
asked her about coming up, she said she would love to have me up! I was
already packed but had to change, the weather wasn't near as good as
Daytona's! I packed up my Ford Focus and took off that Friday morning! The
trip was about 5 hours so I got plenty of caffeine and music! I was
cruising down that highway never going under 80! I made a 5 hour trip in
4 hours! Before I knew it I was knocking on Grandma's door. I had to pee
like a racehorse and didn't want to be rude but when she opened that door I
busted through said a quick hi and ran into the bathroom! When I relieved
myself I went and gave granny a big hug and kiss! " My, Chrissy you have
grown into such a beautiful young girl", Grandma exclaimed. "I bet you are
driving those college boys wild huh?" Nah granny I'm just a freshman and I
don't think I get noticed as much. " Well baby, you got to flaunt it to
make them want it, ". Grandma nearly scared me with that comment, but we
both just busted out laughing. See I told you she was cool. I thought to
myself Granny must have been a wild thang back in her day! "Chrissy you can
go and unpack your room is all ready for you!" I didn't see how grandma
could live in this big ole' house by herself. My Grandfather built it from
the ground up and it was huge! I was unpacking when I smelled the smell
that always perked me up. Grandma's famous grilled cheese sandwiches. That
soft buttery bread smothered in a sweet smelling cheese was all I needed! I
went into the kitchen and sat down as I saw Grandma fixing up those famous
grilled cheese sandwiches. "I remember you use to love these, " Grandma
said. "Oh yes granny and they smell the same as they use to," I said
happily! "Well nothing ever changes with me," Grandma said in the
loneliest of voices. "What's wrong," I asked. "Child it's hard being alone
and I'm only 50." Well granny you still look awesome, do you ever date," I
questioned? She thanked me for the compliment and took the sandwiches out
of the skillet. "For real granny you are hot to trot you don't even look
50. You should be picking up dudes left and right!" I said trying to pick
up her spirits. "I've dated and even had some sexual relationships with
men, but they are just so full of games," Grandma said. "You got that
right, " I responded. "I've just haven't had any luck with the men here. I
've tried to be noticed but all they want is a one night thing," Grandma
cried. "Well granny like I said you are a hot granny too hot for any of
those guys. Have you tried Chicago men, " I said. "Yeah a few," she
replied but they full of jokes too! Well I'm not gonna be the only one
having fun on this trip, I wanted grandma to have herself a good time too!
I would later find out that she was gonna have fun! Me and Granny stayed up
for hours talking about everything. She gave me some pointers and I took
her advice and stored it in the back of my head. She told me about when she
was a teenager and how wild she was. I couldn't believe my granny was
pretty much a nympho! And going this long without sex I knew she had to be
burning up. I had purposed in my heart to find her a man. "Grandma, I
said, how do you, um you know uh?" " How do I what dear, " she said. "Um
how do you release yourself from that sexual tension granny," I said trying
to be an adult about it. Grandma flat out said "I jack off a lot." I had
to laugh at that one , she couldn't hold it in either and she cried out
laughing. Grandma was blunt about everything which made her so cool. I
watched a little bit of TV and headed to bed. Grandma's room was right next
to mine so if I needed anything she was near by.
